John and Paulene Lifeline4Chernobyl.org.uk

John and Paulene the organisers of Lifeline 4 Chernobyl
came along to the Exhibition and had a stand to show
a little selection of what they do on behalf of the charity and
pictures of those who had been helped.
They chatted with lots of visitors and the awareness
of the plight of these forgotten Belarus people
became even more apparent.
At the end of the Exhibition they helped box all the quilts up and
load them on the van.
What a wonderful Exhibition of all this help and kindness,
Thank you to everyone who played a part.

Anns Quilts in Exhibition

Ann inspired Chris to help her create a legacy of
helping The Lifeline 4 Chernobyl Charity by
inspiring quilters around Norfolk and Suffolk to make and
donate quilts. Here are three of Ann's Quilts in the Exhibition.
The Poppy one in ways of Remembrance,
which is being kept as a keepsake. The green and pink and cream were
Ann's donated quilts.
Sadly Ann, didn't get to The Exhibition but she
inspired Chris enough to continue and has made a
beautiful Legacy.
Thank you to all who have helped and contributed.

Quilts for Chernobyl Exhibition

The day of the Exhibition.
The stage area looked wonderful and there were still quilts
coming in the morning too!
As members arrived to help.
It looked wonderful to see them altogether.
It didn't take long to set everything up and the doors opened.

On the 11th of July Weeting Quilters met for our monthly
meeting. This was a lively meeting as usual with lots of
different types of quilting being made.
It was also the meeting before the, 'Quilts for Chernobyl Exhibition',
so there was lots of things to sort out.
Here we took time out to have a photograph taken
displaying Ann's bags.
Ann had made loads of bags, as one of her hobbies,
called 'Bags of Fun'. These were being sold at
the Exhibition to raise funds for the charity.
We were all looking forward to seeing the
quilts all together.
